Chingay 2007!!

I love Chingay 2007! It rocks! Actually it's the first Chingay that i attended for so many years! Country pumpkin eh? haha. Well, I will update more about it once i got the photos. This made me realized, I've not posted up my entry on the CCA orientation and it's like so freaking hell damn long ago? Yet I'm still lazy to get that entry done. Haha. Well, it will be done someday. Yea. Someday. =)

I've got my pay!!! whoooooot! SHOOPPPPIIIINNNGGGG TIME. =)

Replies to tags.

Alright, here will be my reply to the tags recently. Because there's too many of the older tags, i will only reply the recent one especially the one pin pointed on my latest entry, Happy New Year ! Special post for JUNIORS.

Firstly, thanks all who wished me good luck to getting my results, i really appreciated it though i didn't not score really well, but it's all over. Thanks all. To people like, Yvonne, Anne and Yoketing.

Next, to those who wished me Happy Chinese New Year. Here, I wish you all a very happy and prosperous new year too. Enjoy the year of golden pig. =) To people like, jennifer, Jenin, Lalababy, yuting and alicia. Thanks!

Now, is the reply to those who comment about the latest post.
Jasmine, I can understand that you all don't know him that much currently, but i hope, hope that you all will get to know him more and understand him more just now how he made the effort to know about the students like you all. That's something that i don't see other teacher doing. =)

Sinren, this post is not dedicated to ANY specific student or the ATTITUDE kid. It's just a post to ALL juniors i said. The reason why i mentioned about the attitude kid was because it's a good example of not respecting the teachers. Besides, the reason why i put juniorS is because that person may not be the only who is attitude towards the teachers. There may be other students from other classes having the same problem with their teachers and thus i used the term juniorS with a S behind and not junior(s). But i admit, the harsh tone was towards those students who show attitude but overall, this post was specially to all juniors and i hope that they will not make the same mistakes made by those attitude ones. I hope you are not offended by this. Anyway, if you did nothing wrong, i believed there's no need for you to be so agitated over the difference between juniors and junior(s). This post is dedicated to all. I hope you understand and I'm not pin pointing anyone or being stern towards the students. =)

I just hope the students will appreciate the things that the teachers had done and respect them if they want to be respected. =)

Happy New Year ! special post for juniors

Yo! I'm here to blog about new year! Basically, this new year is boring and I think it's just a holiday for my work and allow me to rest and enjoy some mahjong games. haha. Well, had steamboat with my family on the eve of Lunar New Year and this eve was the most unforgettable one, ask Cheryl. HAHA. Seriously unforgettable. Not because it was some great celebration or what but this incident happened which made me had great feelings and thoughts. Alright, let's not talk about the past.

During the first day of Lunar New Year, went my grandparents house. Can you believe, I can actually finish my visits with just one, ONE trip. Well, because both grandparents from my father's and mother's side live only on the opposite unit. OPPOSITE UNIT. It's not block or what you know? It's unit. HAHA. so by visiting one place is equivalent to visiting both grandparents. My other aunties and uncles will also visit my grandparents' place so ya, that made up my trip. I don't have to travel around and blah blah for visits. Just one trip. haha.

On the third, which is yesterday, we went to Mr Lee's house for visit as he was the first teacher, the FIRST who invited us to his house to make a visit. A BIG THANK YOU MR LEE!
We had a great chat with him and told him much about how we revised for our O' level and stuff and the most important thing, how to handle the students. HAHA. He wanted to know how we felt and what are the things that we wanted from a teacher especially a form teacher.

I've heard bad things about him and that he's currently having some conflict and sort with his current form class. Sometimes I really pity him because he's being such a nice teacher trying to give in his best to help each and everyone of the students and yet what he received from the students were attitudes and stuff towards him. Well, I admit that I once had a conflict with him too. But my attitude wasn't that bad as compared. Maybe it was just misunderstandings and that I've already forgotten about it. That's what forgive and forget are about.

To the students of Mr Lee now. These are just some words of advice for you people, and I SERIOUSLY hope that if you guys read it, do wake up and be more mature and sensitive towards your studies and teachers.

Having overcoming so many things in secondary school, these are the things that I realized important to us. The first thing was to have a teacher who is willing to teach and that he can spend his/her every effort to mould us into shape and pass down all the knowledge that they had with them to us. Not those who are so lazy and dump everything to us and make us survive on our own. I'm not making any teacher as example but in my secondary life, I've encountered teacher who did that. This teacher was the first person who made us so fed up and that we've got to get tuitions outside school to help in our academy result for that subject.

Now that Mr Lee is trying to help you all, please allow him to and don't show him attitudes or what. Everything that he did was because he had put you guys in the first priority and he doesn't want you all to lose out. He did print notes for you people, AT NO COST. MIND THIS, AT NO COST. Didn't he? He's taking the risk of being reprimanded by the principal and staffs for using the school's resources. Instead of appreciating what he did and the thoughts that were put in, you people blamed him and scolded him because of some tiny little things. And that, you people can actually say that, HE'S THE WORSE TEACHER THAT YOU'VE EVER HAD.

HEY, WAKE UP! If he's the worse teacher, then what kind of teacher you think is the best for you? teacher who doesn't print notes, teacher who throw all homework to you and made you survive on your own, teacher who does not help you in anyway, teacher who don't reprimand you which result in you turning bad? Or maybe I think the best teacher in you mind is one who doesn't carry out lessons and allow you people to have fun in class eh? NO. you are wrong. Those are the WORSE TEACHERS TO ME. Though Mr Lee may be fierce at times, but he meant good intentions, and that was to help you people with your academy. If you think you detest a teacher because he wants you to FOCUS and STUDY.

Look, I've came a long way through my secondary life. I've always thought that I can study on my own at home and not listen to the teachers in school, but I'm wrong. I still need them to build up the basic foundation in me before i can move on , on my own. Besides being a teacher, Mr Lee actually work fatherly and as a husband. He has got many responsibilities as a teacher at the same time. The fact that he is willing to spend his time with the students after school is really commendable. The fact that he cared so much about the students can be seen by his actions. Family is important to him too, but because of his job, he took up the challenges and the responsibilities. But you people treating him in such way, made his task even more difficult. Perhaps, you guys should think over your actions again and decide how you all want to treat him in future. Treasure such teacher before he leaves and take up another class. If he's replaced by a lazy teacher who don't give a shit, I think you will regret not for a day a month or a year but forever. Because your teacher is the best example for you to learn from if you want to score well and achieve the results that you wanted.

So students, stop throwing tantrum and come to your senses, be more sensitive to the teachers just like how you want them to be sensitive to you. Treat them the way you wanted them to treat you. Because when you give them shitty attitude, trust me, you will receive them too. It's like newton's law, with whatever force you applied on an object, it will also be applied on your hand with the same amount of force. Thus, think over before doing something.

Mr Lee is not the only committed teacher in the school, i took him as an example because i had a chat with him and he told us about his problems thus i would like to share it. There are also many other committed teachers in the school like Mrs Ng May Fook and Mdm Sue and many more. Thus, treasure the good teachers that you have and enjoy the great moment with them and not the bad ones.

Why?

I seriously don't know why. But you are the first person. First person ever who is able to make me cry with your words. For what you said, really hurt me. Not because it is something harming but because i trusted you and i felt that you are someone whom i can really share my problems with and that i can talk to you freely. I believe in you very much that's why i love to disturb you and take the initiative to talk to you. I know it's annoying and irritating to leave you alone without reply. because i was busy and when i wanted to reply, you appeared offline. Seriously i don't know what to do. All i wanted to say to you is that, I'm sorry. Really sorry. I don't wish to loss and friend like you. But I'm afraid now, the fear had built up in me and i need to be very careful when talking to you and whether i should talk to you and not leave you during the chat. Really, I'm sorry.

Old uniform.

Hey juniors out there. I'm giving away my old school uniforms FOC. Shirt and long pants, for my shirt i wore only one year and look brand new. Is anyone of you interested in it? Don't feel shy or paiseh. Just approach me and tell me and i will pass it to you. I don't bear to throw it away because it's still in good condition and are very clean. I've got 2 sets with me I want to pass it down to you guys and I'm intending to give one set to each students. Happy New Year !

HI people! It has been a long time since i last updated my blog. Well, that's because I'm kinda busy with my work and always home late. Besides, there's nothing really much to update about. Unless you guys want to know about my working life and what's happening at my work place. Haha.

I've been enjoying my work and I'm doing fine. Just that kinda dislike some colleague. But no matter what it is, I've still got to get over it because in the working society I know it's common to meet with such situations and stuff. So ya, I'm not going to be bothered by it and continue my job till school starts.

Time flies, and now it's new year again. This year was a really different one though because there wasn't any mood for celebrations or what. It seem as if there isn't a new year for me as I couldn't feel the event existing. Also, I don't get to celebrate new year in school with friends and teachers. Even when I've went back to school to visit the teachers and watch the performances, it will only bring back memories.

Had some chat with the teachers and I realized how much I miss the teachers. Here by, I want to wish everyone a very HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR and will prosper in the new year ahead. For the teachers, Thank You very much for directing me the right path to where I am now. For getting such results I really want to thank you. Especially Mrs Ng and Ms wong for helping me to get into the class I wanted. Mr Lee, Ms Nora, Ms Norfida, Ms Lin and most importantly Mdm Sue for teaching me all these years and preparing for O level.

Once again, I wish everyone a very happy new year and a prosperous new year ahead. Take care and enjoy the new year.!

Reality

The moment is here. The reality i face. What was done, cannot be erased.

No matter how sad and disappointed i got towards my results, i cannot make any changes to it as it has been done. All i can do is to blame myself for not working hard enough to achieve what i wanted.

Hereby, i congrats to those who have achieved great results and are able to choose the path they wanted. On the other hand, for those who didn't badly or under their expectations, don't be demoralized but to work hard and work harder when you got into the new school. It's a new beginning now. What's over is over. Cheer up and carry on your path.

Results of the 2006 GCE 'O' Level Examination

SINGAPORE: Results of the 2006 GCE 'O' Level Examination will be released on Friday, February 9.

School candidates may collect the results from their schools at 2.30pm, while private candidates will be informed of their results by post or may access their results online - www.seab.gov.sg - after 2.30pm.

Students can then submit applications under the Joint Admission Exercise and the Joint-Polytechnic Special Admissions Exercise.

Both exercises are conducted annually to allow those who have sat for the GCE 'O' Level Examination to apply for courses offered by junior colleges, the Millennia Institute, polytechnics and the Institutes of Technical Education (ITE). - CNA/so
